Modeling and Simulation

STA assists with the development of models and the running of simulations to create a better understanding of complex systems.

“Modeling and Simulation” tasks Include:

• Completing a detailed analysis of complex systems for which modeling and simulation will promote a better understanding of potential issues.
• Developing models that will promote a clear understanding of both the operation of component parts of the system as well as the system as a whole.
• Running simulations of prepared models over an extended period of time to gain greater understanding of system efficiencies, operation and performance.
